rain rain go away

My friend and I got all geared up for a fun photo shoot on our day off and it rained. Oh well, we tried to make the most of it and are eagerly awaiting a sunny day to have another photo shoot.

Last Friday afternoon I went on a hike around the lake we live on because I didn't feel like I had enough photos to chose from for my landscapes project. These are my favorite shots.

I love this little red car. I have been dying to take photos of it, so I finally did. Maybe I will be using them for my landscapes project, we'll see what makes the cut.

I went for a hike at Glen Helen in Yellow Springs. I hiked for a long time and couldn't find the springs but here are my favorite shots I took for Project 2: Landscapes in my digital photography class.

spring has sprung

Spring is beautiful! And on this sunny day "Kiki" and I went for a walk around the block. I took photos of flowers for my frist project in Digital Photography. The project requires an emphasis on color and detail.

easter eggs

This afternoon the Walker's hosted a pot luck lunch for our extended family to celebrate Easter. The kids hunted eggs, which they made the day before and we all stuffed ourselves full of good food. LOVE and food make any holiday great!

it's a boy

Today, the crew at the restaurant had a surprise shower for my sister. We stuffed our faces with pot luck food, played shower games and shared laughs. "Dawn Cakes" made a very yummy strawberry cake and I made my very first diaper cake. Now we're all waiting for the baby boy to arrive to crown the winner of our labor contest; we all guessed the birthdate and weight of the baby. I've got dibs on April 6th at 7lbs 1oz.
